MassDot/MBTA to Host Meeting for New Bedford Residents

NEW BEDFORD — MassDOT/MBTA and the City of New Bedford are hosting a Public Information Meeting on the South Coast Rail Project for the residents of New Bedford.

The meeting will take place Tuesday, September 17, at 6:00 p.m. at the Keith Middle School.

The South Coast Rail Project team will present a project update, a discussion of the benefits of the service, and the new location for North New Bedford Station.

The city will also discuss its planning program around the station areas.
