Singer and parody master “Weird Al” Yankovic is known for being, well, weird, so it’s no surprise that his sense of humor is out of the ordinary. However, no man over the age of 40 is immune to dishing out a lame "dad joke," and Yankovic chose to share his about a Massachusetts crosswalk on Twitter.

It was reported that Yankovic was visiting his daughter at Williams College in Williamstown Tuesday when his dad senses began to tingle.

Most people would read that and keep walking. Not "Weird Al."

He posted a 12-second clip and managed to attract over 32,000 likes, with countless comments directed toward Yankovic’s dad-like behavior.

“Weird Al is the only one allowed to make dad jokes,” wrote one Twitter user.

“Dude, you have a direct line to my funny bone,” wrote another.

"Weird Al" has sold more than 12 million albums and has recorded more than 150 parodies and original songs. He even had his own show in the late 1990s called The Weird Al Show. It’s clear that his passion in life has always been to make people smile and to remind people to not take life so seriously. He hasn’t released a full album of new material since 2014, choosing instead to release his parody songs individually on YouTube, but his funny bone is clearly still intact as he continues to amuse his five million social media followers.
