Governor Healey Takes Action Against Trump’s Food Program Reductions
Remember "People will die?" Yeah, we've heard it all before. It's a rallying cry to motivate the masses whenever a policy is proposed or enacted that the social justice warrior movement doesn't like.
The Trump Administration has received congressional approval through passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill to reduce waste, fraud, and abuse in government programs, including Medicaid and SNAP benefits.
To hear some tell it, all old, sick, government-dependent Americans are about to be kicked to the streets, their health care and nourishment programs snatched away and given to the wealthiest billionaires (Trump's pals) in the form of tax breaks.
There is nothing un-American, ungodly, criminal, selfish, or cruel about expecting able-bodied recipients of taxpayer-funded benefit programs to do a little something to earn their keep, as in work or volunteer, while looking for work and eventually pay their own way.

Never one to miss an opportunity to exploit a situation, Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey has signed an executive order to create an "Anti-Hunger Task Force that will work to prevent families from going hungry as President Trump cuts food assistance for children, seniors, veterans, and people with disabilities."
OMG! People will die!
The task force will "advise the Governor and produce recommendations for how Massachusetts can mitigate President Trump's cuts to SNAP and other food assistance programs and adopt long-term solutions to hunger."
Healey stated, "President Trump's cuts are going to force millions of people - children, seniors, veterans, people with disabilities into hunger."
"In Massachusetts, we won't accept that," she said.
Not for nothing, but I think that the downtrodden of Massachusetts have a greater risk of freezing to death with Healey's outrageous energy policies – electricity costs just went up another 12 percent – than starving under Trump.
Remember, Healey single-handedly stopped two natural gas pipelines from coming into this state. She has driven up the cost of energy and added hundreds of dollars to the energy bills of working families with her fees and mandates.
It's no wonder so many people in Massachusetts need government assistance to feed themselves and their families.
