All is not well in Massachusetts, and voters say Governor Maura Healey is to blame.

Healey, who faces re-election next year, cannot be happy with the results of a new poll from the University of New Hampshire showing fewer than half of Massachusetts voters approve of the job she is doing three years into a four-year term.

With likely Republican gubernatorial primary foes Brian Shortsleeve and Mike Kennealy circling in the waters, Healey finds herself surrounded by endless crises, including a multi-billion-dollar immigrant problem, a troubled transportation system, slowing revenue, rising energy prices and a housing shortage.

Healey, a progressive, is faltering just as progressivism, wokeness and her national Democratic Party are slipping out of favor with voters.

Housing, immigration, and cost of living are the top three issues for Massachusetts voters, with "left/leftist" politicians and corruption rounding out the top five.

The UNH survey found, "only 37% of Bay Staters say Healey deserves to be re-elected, 40% say she does not deserve to be re-elected, and 23% don't know or have no opinion."

"A majority of Democrats (60%) say Healey deserves to be re-elected, but only 32% of Independents and 4% of Republicans agree."
