Sales for tonight's Powerball drawing continue to rise in Massachusetts and across the country with the current jackpot estimated at $900 million.
As of noon Saturday, Massachusetts Powerball sales were at $15,000 per minute, according to the Mass. State Lottery Twitter account.
Total sales for this drawing have reached near $20 million, a single game record in Massachusetts.
Tonight's drawing will take place at 11:20 p.m., but the betting pool closes at 9:50 p.m., according to the State's Lottery website.
