New Bedford Narcotics Detectives arrest a Martha's Vineyard man and charge him with various drug violations.

A Police spokesman says 39 year old Michael Willoughby of Oak Bluffs was picked up Thursday afternoon in the vicinity of Pier 3 on the New Bedford Waterfront in possession of a small amount of suspected fentanyl.

The Detectives were on the lookout for street-level drug sales when they made the arrest.

The suspect was charged with Possession of a Class A substance (fentanyl), Conspiracy to Violate Drug Laws, and Possession of a Class C substance (clonazepan).
