Indoor tanning is still popular among many women, according to new research from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. According to their new survey, using an indoor tanning facility is the most common among young, white women. About one in four said they'd done so at least once in the past year, despite knowing about the serious health risks associated with it. Almost 30% of white high school girls reported using tanning beds, and 17% said they did frequently--at least 10 times a year. The numbers went down for older women.
