Man Slashed in Face, New Bedford Police Search for Suspects [VIDEO]

NEW BEDFORD - A male victim was transported to St. Luke's Hospital shortly after 1 p.m. Thursday afternoon after four men forced their way into his apartment, police said.

Detectives on the scene at 58 North Street, just outside of downtown, say the man sustained non-life threatening injuries during the apparent armed home invasion.

Police are searching for four male suspects, two of them described as Hispanic, in connection to the home invasion.

The investigation is ongoing.
