
Man Shot in New Bedford’s West End
NEW BEDFORD - One man is injured in a daytime shooting in New Bedford Sunday.
New Bedford Police say the shooting took place around 6 p.m. Sunday evening in the area of Maxfield Street near the Westlawn housing development in the city's West End.
A 24-year-old New Bedford man suffered injuries to his arm as a result of the apparent gunshot. He was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made.
The shooting remains under investigation.
