Man Reports Being Robbed of Gold Chain at Gunpoint in New Bedford

NEW BEDFORD — Police are investigating after a man reported being robbed at gunpoint at a convenience store in New Bedford's West End.

The victim told police he was at the Quick Pic convenience store at 452 Cottage Street at around 8 p.m. on Thursday when he was approached by a man. The victim said the stranger pulled out a gun and took a gold chain from him.

No injuries were reported.

Police did not provide a description of the suspect.

New Bedford Police are investigating.
