Local RadioShack Stores Closing Their Doors

As a result of RadioShack filing for bankruptcy last week, the company will be closing nearly 2,000 stores.

Those include stores in New Bedford, North Dartmouth, Fairhaven, Brockton, Swansea, and Fall River.

All stores will close by February 28.

Another 1,500-2,400 stores are expected to be turned into Sprint Wireless retail outlets.

Stores that are closing are expected to sell all remaining inventory.
