Local Dancers Featured in Macy’s Parade

New Bedford will have some representation at the annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York.

Former Miss New Bedford Beth LeBlanc Methia and her sister Andrea LeBlanc will be featured dancers on the Lindt Chocolate float with the Goo Goo Dolls.

Beth tells WBSM News she jumped at the chance to perform in the parade.

The six dancers on the float will be dressed as marionettes, performing to the sounds of the Goo Goo Dolls.

The 87th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will be broadcast live on NBC from 9am to noon.
