Lakeville Man, New Bedford Woman Arrested on Prostitution Charges

NEW BEDFORD — New Bedford Police arrested two people in connection to prostitution on Tuesday.

Just after 12:30 p.m., New Bedford Police narcotics detectives observed an interaction in the area of 192 Riverside Avenue they say was consistent with activities of sexual conduct for a fee. Further investigation led to the arrest of both parties.

David R. White, 54, of Lakeville is charged with paying for sexual conduct, while 29-year-old Jessica Belcher of New Bedford is charged with sexual conduct for a fee.
