'Love on the Spectrum' Stars Will Be at King Richard's Faire

King Richard's Faire will have some serious star power in attendance this year. In addition to the knights, fairies, acrobats and musicians, two of the stars of Love on the Spectrum announced they'll play an important role in the festivities. Couple James B. Jones and Shelley Wolfe shared the news on Instagram. "We’re honored to be joining as the Official Ambassadors!" Wolfe said.

A Special Meet & Greet on Opening Day

The beloved Netflix stars are excited to meet their fans. "We’ll be enjoying the Faire and welcoming guests at a special Meet & Greet," they shared. Like many, they're looking forward to getting dressed up, marching in the parade and watching live performances.

Returning to the SouthCoast for a Meaningful Cause

The two met online after Shelley reached out praising James for his impact on Love on the Spectrum. She's since become a famous face when the two made their relationship official on the show. King Richard's Faire won't be the first time the two will visit the SouthCoast. They visited The MGM Show back in January of 2026 and joined Michael, Gazelle and myself for lunch at The Black Whale in New Bedford.

Supporting Autism Awareness with Run the Gamut

Having James and Shelley step up as ambassadors for the Faire is a pretty perfect pairing. This year, King Richard's Faire is partnering with Run the Gamut, a nonprofit that assists those on the autism spectrum. Together, they're raising awareness for the autism community.

What Is Run the Gamut Boston?

The mission of the Massachusetts-based non-profit transition program is to provide young adults living with autism meaningful access to employment, social engagement, and community roles. The truth of the matter is, 40 percent of adults on the autism spectrum do not receive adequate support. From case management to mental health, many are not able to receive the care they require. Over 80 percent of individuals living with autism or intellectual disabilities face lifelong unemployment.

King Richard's Faire is open Saturdays and Sundays, as well as Monday holidays Labor Day (September 7) and Columbus Day (October 12) from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The 45th anniversary season begins Saturday, September 5 and runs through October 25.
