The Massachusetts Gaming Commission has determined that KG Urban has submitted the documentation required as part of RFA-1 application process for a Region C Casino license.

During Thursday's meeting Karen Wells, the Director of the Commission's Investigations and Enforcement Division, says that while they will have to make some updates they have what is needed to move forward.

"I've sent notice to the applicant requiring the information that had already been provided to be updated because so much time has gone by," said Wells, "so we'll get that and certain other documents by the 24th and then we'll work with the applicant on the GLPI issue so we're proceeding along with the investigation.

The Commission also approved the release of the Citizen Notice required for New Bedford to hold the host community election on June 23.

The approval was needed because New Bedford would be holding the election prior to KG Urban's suitability determination by the Commission.
