James Holmes To Undergo Another Sanity Evaluation

A judge is ordering the accused Colorado movie theater shooter to undergo a new pretrial sanity evaluation. 

Judge Carlos Samour said that a new team of psychologists chosen by the state will conduct the exam of James Holmes. 

The judge wrote that the new exam will look only into whether Holmes was sane the night he allegedly killed 12 people and wounded dozens more at an Aurora theater.  He said the new exam should not take into account Holmes current mental state and if he is well enough to stand trial. 

The order will likely further delay the trial which was supposed to start this month.  (Metro Network Inc.)
