It's no surprise that a former Red Sox player has signed with the New York Yankees.  Jacoby Ellsbury is the latest to make a deal with the Bronx Bombers, Ellsbury has agreed to a seven-year deal worth 153-million dollars!  Jacoby spent seven seasons with the Red Sox in center field, leaving many Sox fan's upset that he went for the money rather than the 'hometown discount'.  Ellsbury joins a long list of Red Sox players who have gone to the 'dark side' to play for the Yankees, think of names like Kevin Youklis, Johnny Damon, Derek Lowe, Roger Clemens, Wade Boggs, the list goes on and on all the way back to Babe Ruth.  I'm sure Red Sox fans will let Jacoby hear it next season when he makes his first plate appearance at Fenway Park.
