The bad news is that these limited test-run iced coffee drinks are now officially sold out at every location in New Hampshire and Massachusetts where the coffee company was testing them out and not a single store has any buckets available.

The good news, however, is that these insanely popular drinks are going to be making a comeback.

Dunkin Responds to the Coffee Bucket Frenzy

The media company behind many of Dunkin's memorable ads reached out after seeing just how excited SouthCoast coffee drinkers were about the potential new 48-ounce iced coffee size.

In an email after our original story, Dunkin stated:

Dunkin's enthusiasm over testing these iced coffee buckets was definitely outweighed by their customers' excitement to see them, which is why their next statement was more thrilling to see.

Though it's true that none of the original stores testing the buckets have any left, it's not the sold out part that I chose to focus on. Rather, it's the "when there's more to share" part that we can't wait to see.

Is the 48 oz Dunkin Drink Coming Back in 2026?

Clearly this means their limited run of iced coffee buckets was a smashing success that they are looking to turn into a full-time menu item. Adding the phrase "where to find these next" definitely suggests a wider rollout of these massive iced coffees are coming for summer 2026.
