Hodgson Seeks Assault Charges Against Hernandez

Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson says he's seeking assault and battery charges against former Patriot Aaron Hernandez following a scuffle two weeks ago with another inmate at the House of Correction in Dartmouth. 

The Sheriff says investigators conducted a thorough review, speaking with inmates, corrections officers and others....

Hodgson says the investigation found there was no wrong-doing by corrections officers, but he says some procedures will be changed to make sure a similar incident doesn't happen in the future. 

No court date has been set.  Hernandez is awaiting trial in the 2013 shooting death of Odin Lloyd of South Boston.
