‘Hetty Come$ Home’ [Townsquare Sunday]

New Bedford's Whaling National Historical Park is offering a series of free presentations this summer called "Hetty Come$ Home." It's all about the life of Hetty Green of New Bedford, who at one time was considered the richest woman in the world. While attaining her financial success as the "Witch of Wall Street", Hetty made more than a few enemies and is remembered for her strange and unique eccentricities. Playing the role of Hetty Green is Irene Duprey-Gutierrez, a long-time educator in the region. Irene visits Townsquare Sunday this week to share details about the program, and what the "real" Hetty was all about.
