
Gun Control Activist James Brady Dies At 73
Former White House Press Secretary James Brady is dead. A statement from his family says he passed away "after a series of health issues."
While serving in the Reagan administration, Brady was shot and left permanently disabled during a 1981 assassination attempt.
He went on to become one of the nation's leading supporters of gun control. James Brady was 73 years old. (Metro Networks Inc.)
