Governor Charles Baker is lifting the travel ban in four western counties in Massachusetts.  

In a press conference today, Baker announced he was lifting the travel ban for Berkshire, Hampden, Hampshire and Franklin counties.

As far as the eastern region of Massachusetts, however, Baker urged people to continue to respect the travel ban.

The region is expected to be hit with up to ten more inches of snow.

The governor also took time to commend emergency personnel for their work.
