Good News For New Bedford Commutors

There's some good news for New Bedford commutors. According to Mayor Jon Mitchel,  two key road projects in the city will be hitting milestones in the next several days.

The intersection of Coggeshall Street and Rt. 18/JFK highway is re opening to vehicular traffic Wednesday morning. Many commutors and businesses in the Coggeshall St./ Achushnet Avenue area will be breathing a sigh of relief now that the project is complete. And as early as Friday morning the new ramp that connects Rt. 18 north to the New Bedford Fairhaven Bridge is expected to open.
