Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational-Technical High School began an online application process last month for those who wish to attend the school or learn more about the school through their website.

While saying that this is a good way to attract potential students while simplifying the application process Sue Demers, the school's Scheduling/Reporting Coordinator tells WBSM's Barry Richard that visiting in person is still a viable and recommended way to get to know the school better.

"We welcome anybody that wants to come and see Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech for themselves to come here and check out the school, talk to our guidance counselors, talk to our teachers and administrators, and really go through the 27 different career and technical programs and see what they're all about," said Demers.

Demers says that over 275 students have used the online application process so far.

The school will be hosting an open house on sunday from 12:30 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Those interested in applying online should go here.
