Former President George H.W. Bush is in the hospital after a fall at his Maine home on Wednesday.

A Bush spokesman says the former president broke a bone is his neck, but is in stable condition at a Portland, Maine hospital.

According to Jim McGrath, Bush is expected to fully recover, though he will be forced to wear a neck brace.

The 91-year-old Bush spent a significant amount of time in a Houston hospital in 2012 for bronchitis, and he has been forced to use a scooter or wheelchair due to a form of Parkinson's disease.
