A gallon of regular gas in Massachusetts averaged three-dollars-73-cents a gallon at the beginning of the week, according to Triple-A.  With Hurricane Issac forcing oil rigs and refineries along the Gulf coast to shut down, prices have continued to rise.  The average national price Wednesday was three-83.
