Fall River Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Vehicles
FALL RIVER — The Fall River Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying two vehicles involved in hit and runs last week.
On August 30t, at approximately 8 p.m. in the 400 block of South Main Street, a 55-year-old male was crossing the street when he was struck by the van pictured, possibly a green Dodge Caravan or Chrysler Town and Country. The van then fled and went north on South Main Street.
Just a few days earlier on August 26, around 9:30 p.m., a 24-year-old Fall River man was crossing Brayton Avenue near McDonald's when he was struck. Witnesses near the scene reported seeing a black sedan strike the male, stop and then flee the scene.
Both victims suffered serious head trauma and were left in the roadway.
