Get the costumes and kids ready for a great trick-or-treating event in New Bedford later this month. With Halloween falling on a Thursday, it may not be so easy to take the kids out trick-or-treating this year. So with a great and safe trick-or-treating event happening right in downtown New Bedford the Saturday before Halloween, it could be the perfect time to get the candy your kids want without going all over the place.

Kids, put on your Halloween costume and grab an adult, for 'All Treats, No Tricks.' Parents and kids can head to participating businesses in their costumes collecting candy and enjoying festive store displays.

Join Downtown New Bedford Inc. and almost 40 local businesses Saturday, October 26, from 2 to 5 pm for this fun and free Halloween event. The rain date will be Sunday, October 27, from 12 to 2 pm.

"All Treats, No Tricks is a free family Halloween event in downtown New Bedford. This is my third year organizing the event and it’s always so much fun! I love seeing all the kids in their costumes and everyone has a blast! This year, we have 37 participating businesses throughout dNB who will be handing out candy." - Elissa Paquette, President of Downtown New Bedford Inc and the owner of Calico

Downtown New Bedford Inc. will soon have a list of all participating dNB locations and a downloadable candy stop map available on their site. Stay late for Trunk or Treat at the New Bedford YMCA.
