Franklin, Mass Teacher Investigated For Having Inappropriate Relationship With Student

As of right now, students returning to Franklin High School in Franklin, MA will be without a teacher who has been put on administrative leave. 

According to WVCB, a male teacher at Franklin High School has been put on paid leave after allegations of an inappropriate relationship with a female student. The teacher is currently under investigation.

Parents of students at Franklin High received a letter informing them of the investigation, and the the police have been contacted.

In the letter, the school superintendent says:

...the alleged incident is disturbing and does not reflect the expectations we espouse as a school district or a community.

The teacher in question will remain on paid leave, until the investigation has concluded.
