NEW BEDFORD - For the fourth time in several months, the former Flagship Cinemas on Kings Highway in New Bedford has been broken into.

New Bedford Police say they received reports of the break-in early Monday. Police believe the building at 500 Kings Highway had been broken into over the weekend.

The front door was unlocked, and glass inside of the theater had been shattered. Fire panels were also damaged. Police say nothing was stolen, as there is nothing to take from the building.

The former movie theater closed down in the summer of 2016 and has remained vacant since.
