Four Charged, One Sought in New Bedford Home Invasion
NEW BEDFORD - Two New Bedford teens have been arrested after a home invasion on Allen Street.
Police say at least four males pushed their way into the victim's home Monday night and held the home owner at bay with a firearm while they searched the house for money. A small amount of cash was taken.
Police were able to locate two of the suspects: 18-year-old Jeffrey Rosonina and a 17-year-old male juvenile. They both face charges of armed home invasion with a firearm, armed robbery, and intimidating a witness. The 17-year-old suspect faces additional charges of resisting arrest and vandalizing property.
Similar charges are also being filed against 23-year-old Shaun Pereira and a 16-year-old male juvenile, though they have yet to be arrested.
Police say a fifth man is also being sought in connection to the break in.
