UPDATE: The Bristol County D.A.'s office confirmed that the woman's body is, in fact, 66-year-old Janet Roderiques, who had been missing out of Dartmouth since Sunday afternoon.

UPDATE: A message from a missing woman's family member published on Facebook states that the family believes the body is hers, although authorities are still awaiting confirmation from the medical examiner.

Her identity has not yet been determined, but foul play is not suspected, according to the D.A.'s office.

The investigation is ongoing and authorities have not yet provided any further details.

However, a public Facebook post from the family member of a woman reported missing in Dartmouth earlier this week reveals that the family is "99% sure" the body is hers.

The family is just waiting for confirmation from the state medical examiner's office, the post notes.

Dartmouth police had been searching for 66-year-old Janet Roderiques since she disappeared from State Road on Sunday afternoon.
