FALL RIVER — A massive fire at a two-family home in Fall River displaced 14 people on Saturday.

According to the Fall River Herald, firefighters arrived to 63 Cottage Street just before 2:00 p.m. to find the home completely engulfed.

The Fall River Fire Department provided a large response to the blaze, dispatching a total of four engines, two ladder trucks, and a rescue apparatus.

All residents of the home were outside in the backyard when the fire broke out and made it to safety. No injuries were reported.

Officials say the fire was concentrated toward the front of the building with heavy fire erupting from the second-floor porch and bay window. Fire crews were able to put the fire out in approximately 30 minutes.
