Join the Whaling Museum and Bristol Community College as they bring the Manhattan Short Film Festival to New Bedford for 2018.

Beginning September 28 and running through October 8, thousands of film lovers around the world will sit in more than 250 cinemas to view and vote on 10 short films as part of the 20th Annual Manhattan Short Film Festival. This year, 1,565 entries from 73 countries were submitted, and nine finalists were chosen to be part of the event.

On October 4, the Whaling Museum will be showing these short films selected and you are invited to join them. Tickets are $10 at the door or $5 with your BCC Student ID.  Refreshments will be served at 5:30 p.m., and screenings will begin at 6 p.m.

As an attendee, you will be handed a voting card and asked to vote for the one, single film that YOU think should win. All of the votes cast at the Whaling Museum's showing on October 4 will be tallied and added to the worldwide tally of votes. The winner of the festival will be announced on Monday, October 9.
