One Dead in Fiery I-195 Crash in Somerset

Update, 8:14 a.m.: Massachusetts State Police are saying that a one-way driver caused the crash, and that it happened around 3:45 a.m.

One person is dead following an early morning crash Wednesday on Interstate 195 in Somerset.

The crash happened around 3:45 a.m. in the westbound lane just past the Rt. 103 exit. The victim's name and circumstances leading to the crash have not yet been released by Massachusetts State Police.

Traffic was badly backed up this morning as lanes were closed while police conducted an investigation. There are reports that a car was on fire.
