Fentanyl Operation Busted by New Bedford Police
NEW BEDFORD - A fentanyl distribution operation is broken up by New Bedford Police.
An apartment at 102 Parker Street in the West End was searched by police Tuesday night, with police uncovering 31 grams of Fentanyl, a small amount of crack-cocaine and Oxycodone, packaging materials, and $2,002 in cash.
Police arrested the two people living in the apartment, 26-year-old Vincent Perez and 25-year-old Amy Gruber. The pair has been charged with trafficking in Fentanyl, possession of a class B substance (Oxycodin) with intent to distribute, possession of class B substance (cocaine) with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug laws.
