Feast Of The Blessed Sacrament Comes To An End

Despite the soggy weather, thousands flocked to the final day of the 100th Feast of the Blessed Sacrament Sunday.

Along with the usual festival activities, the afternoon included the annual parade down Acushnet Avenue.

Walter Gray and his wife Carol even crossed state lines to enjoy the fun.

The parade featured Portuguese floats and music, clydesdales, marching bands, and even some members of the WBSM family. They were honoring the passing of friend and colleague Jack Peterson.
