Feast Committee Gives $10,000 To GNB Voc-Tech

Club Madeirense S.S.Sacramento and the Feast of the Blessed Sacrament Committee have made a $10,000 donation to Greater New Bedford Voc-Tech High School. 

The Feast is held every year in New Bedford's North End, and is considered the largest Portuguese Feast in North America. 

Voc-Tech Principal Mike Gagliardi is thrilled with the gift.

This past year, Voc-Tech students helped improve some of the facilities at the Feast grounds on Madeira Avenue. 

They've also performed community service projects for the Council on Aging, and the City of New Bedford, including the Christmas lights at Clasky Common Park.
