Three teenagers were killed in two separate crashes on the SouthCoast since last night, according to Bristol County District Attorney Tom Quinn’s Office.

Dighton Teen Killed in Taunton Crash

First, Taunton Police responded to a single-vehicle crash at 168 Tremont Street in Taunton at about 10:13 p.m. on September 19. First responders found a Toyota Tacoma pickup fully engulfed in flames.

The D.A.’s Office said it appeared the truck left the roadway on Tremont Street, struck the front porch of the home at 168 Tremont Street, and rolled into parked cars in the driveway of the home.

The teen girl who had been driving the vehicle was only identified as being from Dighton. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Route 195 Crash Kills Two Fall River Teens

Then at about 1:09 a.m. today, Massachusetts State Police received 911 calls reporting a vehicle operating erratically at high speeds on Route 195 westbound in Dartmouth. Troopers arrived at the area of the Reed Road Exit and found a Kia sedan that had left the roadway and crashed into the median.

The two occupants of the vehicle, a teen boy and teen girl both from Fall River, had been ejected from the car and were found in the left travel lane. They were both pronounced deceased at the scene. Their identities were not released.

The D.A.’s Office said the Kia had been reported stolen out of Fall River.

Crashes Remain Under Investigation

Both crashes are under investigation by Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the D.A.’s Office.
