
Three Illegal ‘Switch’ Devices and Loaded Firearms Recovered in Fall River Raid
FALL RIVER (WBSM) — A Fall River man was recently arrested on multiple firearms charges after police allegedly discovered him in possession of a ghost gun and a loaded pistol.

On June 19, Fall River Police detectives assigned to the Community Action and Suppression Team executed a search warrant at a Boutwell Street residence, according to a police Facebook post.
Loaded Ghost Gun, Taurus Pistol, and 'Switch' Devices Seized
During a search of Kieson Cuffee’s bedroom, detectives found two illegal firearms: a Polymer 80 9mm “ghost gun” equipped with a 31-round magazine loaded with 24 rounds, as well as a machine gun conversion device commonly referred to as a “switch,” and a Taurus G3C 9mm pistol with a 12-round magazine containing nine rounds and another in the chamber.

Detectives also discovered two other “switch” devices in the bedroom, as well as drug packaging materials, including plastic sandwich bags and a digital scale containing suspected cocaine or crack cocaine residue.
Suspected Cocaine and Serious Firearm Charges
Cuffee, 35, was arrested and charged with possession of a loaded machine gun, two counts of possession of a machine gun, two counts of possession of a firearm without an FID card (subsequent offense), two counts of possession of a large capacity firearm, possession of ammunition without an FID card (subsequent offense), two counts of improper storage of a large-capacity firearm near a minor, firearm violation with three prior violent/drug crimes, and possession of a Class C drug.
