Fall River Suspect Surrenders After Appearing on Most Wanted List

FALL RIVER — Hours after being prominently featured on the newly unveiled Bristol County District Attorney Most Wanted fugitives list, the suspect in a public shooting in Fall River has surrendered himself to authorities.

The Bristol County District Attorney's Office says Rodney Jette, 18, of Fall River, walked into the District Court Clerk's office just after 3 p.m. Thursday with his defense attorney. He was taken into custody and arraigned on four gun charges and two counts of vandalism.

Jette was wanted for the January 22 shooting outside of the Fall River Justice Center in broad daylight. No one was hurt.
