Fall River Man Arrested for Making ‘Violent Threats’ With Hammer
FALL RIVER (WBSM) — Police have arrested a man accused of making multiple violent threats to the public over the weekend with a hammer.
Sean Dacosta, 50, has been charged with disturbing the peace, terroristic threats, carrying a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct.
On Saturday, July 27, officers responded to a call shortly before 10 p.m. about a man making violent threats at Cardinal Medeiros Towers on Robeson Street.
According to police, the man was outside holding a hammer while threatening people on the property.
Upon arrival, Dacosta cooperated with police and was taken into custody, according to a news release.
Witnesses also accused the suspect of threatening to shoot multiple people, but police found no gun in his possession.
