
Fall River Police Find Body at Battleship Cove
UPDATE: The Bristol County District Attorney's Office has confirmed with WBSM News that the man's death was the result of a suicide.
FALL RIVER – Fall River Police have recovered a man’s body from Battleship Cove.
Police said that on Sunday at 12:44 p.m., the department received a report of a body floating in the Taunton River near Battleship Cove.
After responding to the scene, police and fire crews eventually recovered a man’s body.

Major Crimes and Massachusetts State Police detectives are investigating, according to Fall River Police.
It is unclear if foul play is suspected at this time, although police said any unattended death is investigated by major crimes detectives as a matter of policy.
No further details have been disclosed.
