Fall River Police Arrest Two in Twisted Sexual Armed Robbery
FALL RIVER — Two people are under arrest and charged with trying to force a man to have sex with women and then having him pay for the experience.
Police responded to an Alden Street address at about 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday for a report of an armed robbery.
Upon arrival, the 53-year-old male victim told police that he had met with two women and another man earlier that morning at about 2:30 a.m. before they all agreed to go to the victim's home on Alden street to drink beer.
Once inside the residence, the male suspect ordered the 53-year-old victim to have sex with the two women and then pay him $100 for each woman. The suspect then displayed a folding knife, extended the blade, and threatened to stab the man if he did not pay.
The victim told police that he ran into the bathroom, where he was locked inside by the two women for about half an hour. While in the bathroom, the victim shouted until a neighbor arrived to render assistance. As the neighbor reached the victim's apartment, the male suspect and the two women fled the apartment, taking the victim's computer, cell phone, and prescription medication.
As Fall River Police officers canvassed the area, the victim informed officers that the people responsible for the robbery could be located at 286 Flint Street.
Officers made their way to the Flint Street address and found a man and a woman who matched the descriptions provided by the victim. Police also found the victim's stolen items on a table inside of the Flint Street apartment.
Police arrested the two suspects, identified as Jonathan Belton, 44, homeless, and Kathleen Snitzer, 32, of 7 Division Street, Apartment 3, of Fall River. Both face charges of armed robbery and kidnapping.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and ask anyone with information on the second female to contact them at 508-676-8511 or by calling the anonymous tip line at 508-672-8477.
