Fall River Police Arrest Burglary Suspect
FALL RIVER — Police have arrested a suspect in a series of burglaries and car break-ins that have recently taken place in Fall River's North End neighborhood.
Police said on Wednesday major crimes detectives arrested 33-year-old city resident Michael Hazel after an "extensive investigation" into the series of thefts.
Hazel was identified as the suspect after investigators developed evidence in the case leading to a search of his home.

The search led to "additional evidence implicating Hazel" in the case, according to police.
Police did not disclose what evidence led to Hazel's arrest.
Following the search, Hazel was taken into custody and arraigned in Fall River District Court.
He has been ordered held until his next court date.
