Fall River Murder Suspect Turns Himself In
FALL RIVER — The man wanted in connection to a fatal stabbing over the weekend in Fall River has surrendered himself to authorities.
The Fall River Police Department has announced that Adam Conners, 29, of Fall River, surrendered himself to court authorities on Monday.
Police had secured a warrant for Conners' arrest over the weekend in connection to the stabbing death of Joseph Reading, 39, also of Fall River.
The Bristol County District Attorney's Office says Conners will be arraigned Monday in Fall River Superior Court. He was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing substantial injury. That charge may be upgraded.
