Fall River’s Mitch Raposo Gets Another Shot at UFC Stardom on April 12th
The climb to the top is never easy and Mitch Raposo has dealt with his fair share of obstacles as he aims to make a name for himself in the UFC’s Flyweight division.
On April 12th, the Fall River native heads to Miami with one goal in mind—a dominate performance that gets his hand raised.

Who Is Mitch Raposo?
Raposo has his neighbor to thank for his start in martial arts. When he discovered his neighbor training mixed martial arts, he quickly joined in and hasn’t stopped since.
Training out of Regiment Training Center in Fall River, Raposo has nabbed a few titles and proved to be a problem on the local scene. His first test of adversity came during Season 29 of The Ultimate Fighter in 2021, then again during Dana White’s Contender Series.
At 22 years old, those two losses stung, but Raposo got back on the horse and his faith in God carried him to his next opportunity- a four-fight deal with the UFC.

Mitch Raposo On Tap for UFC 314 in Miami
In his first official UFC outing at UFC 302, Raposo came up short after 3 hard-fought rounds. The Flyweight prospect believes with each loss comes a lesson and he plans on changing the tide with his next performance.
Splitting his training between Regiment Training Center in Fall River, Tyson Chartier's New England Cartel in Haverhill, and Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas with the highly respected Eric Nicksick, Raposo has left no stone unturned for this fight camp.
“It means everything to me to step into my sophomore fight with the UFC and show them what I can do on a full camp against a vet,” he said. “I have dreamt for these opportunities since I was a kid and I will not let this one slip away from me.”
