FALL RIVER — Police arrested two Fall River men on drugs and firearm charges on Friday after searching a home in connection to a drug investigation.

David Verdieu, 27, and 37-year-old Kirk Howe were arrested after members of the Fall River Police Department’s Vice and Intelligence unit found illegal drugs and an illegal firearm in their Buffinton Street house on June 4, according to a press release from the department.

Police said that around noon on Friday they searched the home and found a .22 caliber semi-automatic pistol belonging to Verdieu, who does not have a license for the firearm.
