FALL RIVER — Two Fall River men caught in a drug bust earlier this morning have been arrested and charged for drug possession and other charges.

Fall River Police said that at around 9 a.m. Friday, Vice and Intelligence Unit detectives searched a home in the 200 block of Glasgow Street in the city.

The officers encountered Shane Rego, 40, and Kris Ferreira, 42, upon entering the house.

Following a search of the property, the detectives said they found 28.57 grams of suspected crack cocaine and .54 grams of suspected fentanyl.

The estimated street value of the drugs seized is over $3,000.

Police also seized $710.00 in cash and a stun gun.

Kris Ferreira was arrested and charged with trafficking in 18 grams or more of cocaine, drug possession with intent to distribute class A, and possession of a firearm (stun gun) without a firearm ID card.

Shane Rego was placed under arrest and served with two outstanding warrants.
