A Pair of Inseparable Dogs in Fall River Need a Loving Family [WET NOSE WEDNESDAY]
The mission continues at Fun 107 to get as many animals adopted as possible. On Wet Nose Wednesday, we shine a light on one lucky animal in hopes of finding them the perfect forever family. Thanks to the help of several SouthCoast shelters, we have been able to share so many stories and unite families with their new best friends.
This week, we have a pair of inseparable dogs from Forever Paws Animal Shelter in New Bedford that hope to stay together at a new forever home.
Meet Echo and Sprocket. Echo is a female Australian Shepherd and Sprocket is a male Sheltie. Both are under five years old and are the best of friends.
This sweet pair had to be surrendered to the shelter because their family was moving and could not take them. Thankfully, they still have each other.
"This duo would do well in an adult home or one with much older children," said the shelter. A fenced-in yard is a plus and their new owners will like to go on walks and hikes. Echo and Sprocket would enjoy a moderately active lifestyle with a family that wants to make them the center of attention.
They need to be reminded that they are still loved, and there is still the perfect family out there for them.
"We would prefer to place them together, as they have been together most of their lives. So if you are applying for both you will have first consideration," said Arianna Silva, director of Forever Paws.
